tesa – Packaging Innovations Stand

BRIEF: To extend the marketing communications package for a brand launch into a face-to-face proposition.

RESPONSE: Tregartha Dinnie created the ‘Lift and Reseal’ brand for tesa and supported the launch with a number of industry event appearances, PR, advertising, a web microsite and a series of videos. The case study shows the stand at the Packaging Innovation show was created using low cost shell scheme infill panels. The concept has proved to be very popular for food packaging and has been a specified technology on listings for several of the major UK supermarket chains.

Equita - Parkex Stand

BRIEF: To design and deliver the 'stand-out' exhibition presence at B2B shows.

RESPONSE: Tregartha Dinnie produced a stand design that could be used across a number of shows throughout the year. At events where stands were very conservative the Agency produced a bold stand design with matching merchandise which attracted visitors attention.

Ross & Roberts - Parkex Stand

BRIEF: To provide an exhibition stand that would communicate the companies new identity.

RESPONSE: Tregartha Dinnie organised the logistics for each event; furniture, electrical requirements etc., graphic design and production, build up and breakdown of Ross & Roberts stands across the year with the focus on their new identity.

Majestic SEO

BRIEF: Majestic is the leading Internet backlink search engine. A specialist resource that provides vital insight for Internet marketing agencies and SEOs.

RESPONSE: Tregartha Dinnie created a whole suite of brand elements and positioning statements, each tailored to its audience, from the specialist web agency to major web data providers. The brand themes were implemented on line as well as at global search events, with a range of practical and often highly portable implementations.

Ross & Roberts – Stand Design

BRIEF: To transfer the new Ross & Roberts ‘look’, recently designed by Tregartha Dinnie, through to their annual exhibition and event programme.

RESPONSE: Historically, Ross & Roberts has exhibited within standard ‘shell scheme’ spaces, rows of which can produce an anonymous and very standardised presence at trade shows. Tregartha Dinnie devised a series of seamless cladding panels that hid the structure, created a completely bespoke look and allowed the use of much larger and more powerful images. We chose some very contemporary seating, a bespoke information desk and even a striking, colour-matched vase of flowers as a finishing touch!

Gandlake – Stand Design

BRIEF: Create stand design for Local Government and Public Sector events.

RESPONSE: Tregartha Dinnie designed and created their exhibition stand and managed the build to sign off on site. With a number of meeting and demonstration areas and a juice bar, the flexible structure was reconfigured to create a presence at a number of shows. The design concept was rendered in 3D and a detailed specification and budget was produced.

The quality of finish was agreed and monitored by the project team. In addition to the workstation modules, a glazed panel fitted with a holographic film overlay was suspended on the stand to give a striking centrepiece with rear projected presentations. A simplified scheme for pop up displays and shell scheme was produced to give continuity to the communication.

Dukes Bailiffs – Stand Design

BRIEF: Following a rebrand designed by Tregartha Dinnie, Dukes required an affordable but eye-catching presence at the various annual events they attend.

RESPONSE: Dukes' typical exhibition space is a 3m x 3m shell scheme, positioned in what can often be row after row of anonymous and very similar stands. In order to draw interest to the Dukes stand, we completely covered the walls in seamless photographic panels that replicated their current advertising campaign, also designed by Tregartha Dinnie.

To further attract customers a competition was run on the stand based around the 'lion' theme, with prizes sourced from World Wildlife Fund products, where profits are used to fund its valuable work.

Green Gourmet – Stand Design

BRIEF: To design and produce a 6m wide graphic which would form a back wall to Green Gourmet's food demonstration area at LACA 2011.

RESPONSE: Having designed no fewer than eight brands for foodservice company Green Gourmet, it was only natural that Tregartha Dinnie would eventually be asked to have a look at the Green Gourmet image itself. The logo was pretty much set in stone but we devised a clean, new look and an alternative strapline that positioned the company much more accurately, as it had grown and diversified substantially over recent years.

When Green Gourmet exhibited at LACA we produced a corporate folder and a separate insert for each brand, using fresh, natural colours and imagery. The design of the folder was then reproduced to form a 6M wide backdrop!

Equita – Stand Design and Build

BRIEF: To design a modular, reusable stand which looks bespoke. The stand needed to reflect Equita's advertising campaign, which was also designed by Tregartha Dinnie as part of a full rebrand, based around the 'Your Natural Choice' strapline. These depicted a stunning series of animals, birds and fish that had developed outstanding abilities as a result of natural selection and evolution.

RESPONSE: Equita books shell scheme space at three or four trade events per year. To disguise the metalwork which forms the shell scheme structure we clad the interior in painted MDF panels to create a seamless white wall.

Instead of standard graphics printed on paper or board, we reverse printed the images onto clear acrylic panels which were then mounted to the walls using aluminium spacers. These panels gave the stand a very contemporary, gallery-like feel. The rest of the area was designed for client discussion and corporate entertainment.

The stand has been used many times by Equita and still looks fresh and innovative.

Experian – Stand Design

BRIEF: Experian is a major provider of credit status information to private and public sector businesses. They approached Tregartha Dinnie to create an exhibition stand for use through a range of public sector exhibition events.

RESPONSE: Tregartha Dinnie created a modular system for Experian. Constructed in laminate clad timber, the units could stack to a variety of heights from 2.1 to 2.8 metres. The ‘seamless’ effect of the wall finish enabled the stand to provide a strong presence even in the largest hall. Equipped with storage points, demo stations, private seating areas and literature racks, the stand featured striking illuminated displays using concealed lighting and LED lighting effects.

CCS – Stand Design

BRIEF: To extend the new CCS corporate style, designed by Tregartha Dinnie, through to their presence at conferences and exhibitions.

RESPONSE: Tregartha Dinnie designed a series of modular units which allow CCS to exhibit at smaller events using banner stands and pop-up displays, through to large trade shows using a series of Octonorm infill panels.

The strong imagery we established in their advertising and corporate literature translated well to exhibition graphics. Tregartha Dinnie oversaw and project managed their events from concept layouts through to production and on site supervision.

Chandlers – Stand Design

BRIEF: Chandlers needed a versatile system that could be adapted to numerous different stand sizes and configurations. It was also important that it could be added to as required.

RESPONSE: Tregartha Dinnie designed and produced a series of graphic panels that were a 3 dimensional version of Chandlers' corporate literature. Each panel can be used either singly or can be paired up to form a larger picture.

The panels fitted within a white Octanorm structure which almost visually disappears, as the graphics themselves are predominantly white. Due to the nature of the design, the panels could be added to without any noticeable difference in print colour or quality.
